My name is Jenny Farnsworth, and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of someone who means the world to me and my family. Emily, Jordan, and their family have been a part of our lives for many years. Emily was my daughter’s cheer coach, and today they coach side by side together at FAME All Stars. Over the years, Emily has become so much more than a friend—she has become family. Jordan’s love for Emily and the life they built together made him family to us, too.

On August 3, 2026, our dear friend, coach, teacher, and mentor, Emily Murphy, lost the love of her life, her husband, Jordan.

Emily has spent her life giving to others. As a middle school teacher in Prince William County and a longtime coach at FAME All Stars, she has poured her heart into countless students and athletes, helping shape not only stronger athletes but stronger people. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering support have touched so many lives.

Those who know Emily also know she and Jordan shared a beautiful love story. From their early days together to their wedding and the life they were building side by side, they were truly best friends and partners in every sense of the word. Their love was evident to everyone around them.

Now, in an instant, Emily is facing a future she never imagined.

As she grieves this unimaginable loss, she is also faced with the many practical realities that come with suddenly losing a spouse. This fundraiser is intended to help relieve some of those burdens, including:

• Household expenses and monthly bills

• Home and yard maintenance that Jordan helped manage

• Care for their two beloved dogs

• Memorial and other unexpected expenses

• Giving Emily the financial flexibility to take the time she needs to grieve without the added weight of immediate financial stress

Anyone who knows Emily knows she would never ask for help herself. So we’re asking on her behalf.
