On July 19, recent high school graduate, Emily Brown, was airlifted to the University of Iowa hospital with a brain bleed. It was later determined that she had had a massive brain aneurysm. The expenses associated with air transport, and a prolonged pediatric ICU stay, will be extensive. She is currently still being cared for at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital pediatric ICU.
