support Emily & Brendon

Hi, I'm Teresa and I'm here on behalf of Emily, Brendon and the kids. They have had a tough go over the past while and just can't seem to catch a break. Emily and Brendon have been scraping by on their own, but it's time for us to step in and ease their load - so I'm here to ask for your help in surrounding them with our love and support in easing their stress.

Brendon has had a variety of unexpected employment changes over the past while including some job losses completely outside his control. Additionally, he has been navigating some ongoing complex health challenges, and as a result has only been able to work part time.

Then earlier this year, one of the kids developed a fast growing tumor which required an invasive surgery. Thankfully it was found to be benign and they are recovering well however, this all required Emily to be off work to manage the appointments, hospital stay, and recovery and she has used up her entire sick leave time.

Then this past week, Emily ended up with a sudden and significant infection and needed emergency surgery and now she will be off work and without an income for approximately a month to recover (pending recovery goes as smoothly as possible). But unfortunately with all her sick leave time used up, this has left her with no pay while she is recovering (and right on the heels of her starting an additional job compounding the financial blow). Understandably, this is putting them in a very tough financial spot especially after so many back to back challenges.

Emily and Brendon care deeply about the people around them, and I'd love to extend that same care and compassion back to them. Please help me in showing them how much we love and adore them by relieving this financial strain, particularly in this challenging time while Emily is off work.
