Hi everyone, we are starting this GoFundMe for Emily and Zach Brubaker to help alleviate some of the medical and monthly expenses as Emily continues to battle breast cancer.

In March of 2025, at 31 years old, newly engaged and excited to plan a wedding, Emily was diagnosed with HER2+ invasive ductal carcinoma, which she immediately started treatment for. She underwent chemotherapy from April to September with several additional chemotherapy treatments in October and November. She currently is undergoing radiation treatments through the end of January in preparation for surgery in March.

Emily worked through the majority of her treatment, but at this time is unable to continue in her current position. The strength and courage she has shown throughout treatment has been inspiring. This GoFundMe is being created in hopes of alleviating some of the cost burden they have experienced, and will continue to go through, as Emily will be out of work through the spring.

Emily is the first one to show up for those in her life and is always going above and beyond to help those around her. Zach and Emily are so thankful for the support from their family and friends and to those who have reached out and checked in on them since the diagnosis. They have not asked for any help as they have gone through this journey. Anything and everything is appreciated, from friends family and strangers alike, thank you so much!
