I am creating this GoFundMe for my girlfriend, Emily Waters, and her dad, Terry Waters.

UPDATE: The insurace lapsed after the home was paid off meaning there is no insurance to cover any damages and losses.

On November 30th at approximately 2:20PM, there was faint cracking sounds. Luckily, our dog was triggered and signaled something was wrong. After opening the garage, the flames and smoke filled the house nearly instantly. Luckily, all members inside the house were able to evacuate safely and unharmed. When HCFD arrived, it was too late. The fire spread to the vehicles parked in the driveway. The keys for these vehicles were close to the garage, so obtaining them was not an option.

After Fire Investigators searched and analyzed the scene, it was declared as an electrical fire from a deep freezer. At the end of the fire and damage, they additionally lost two vehicles.

Again, we are so blessed nobody was hurt in this incident. Additionally, we were blessed that Emilys’ mother, and Terry’s wife, Nicole Waters ashes from her passing in early January due to cancer were recovered safely.

We ask for any help to get Emily and her dad back onto their feet by donating financial support or assistance. This money will go towards food, clothing, and any other necessities needed to get back on their feet.
