Hello family, friends and prayers warriors far and wide!
While many of us know the anticipation of awaiting what is to be our final addition and what some even refer to as their "caboose baby" and all the excitement that may come to the older siblings and even the parents; many times and unfortunately more often than times that are mentioned these exciting moments may not and do not always go as smoothly as did your previous experiences.
This has become the instance with my daughter with her 4th sweet baby. While, we have all embraced the love our Charlie Rose will and has endured as of the announcement of her coming until the entire life span this beautiful princess will have through God's grace, we have all accepted that no matter what, when, where, or how, whatever is willed for her needs will infact be met.
At 23 weeks my daughter and her boyfriend were hit with the emotional news that our sweet Charlie Rose will be born with a double cleft lip and pallet. This hit hard as it's something entirely different for our family since her 3 previous pregnancies produced flawless newborns.
With that being stated, Emily and Shaun will now be not only attending the normal OB appointments yet Specialist visits to Albany as well as AUGUSTA!
These appointments will begin now, and follow through until after Miss Charlie undergoes facial surgery.
While the grandparents are 100% on board and understanding with this situation, we are all able to step up, and do whatever needs to be done with the means of our other 3 babies. However, with time off work for moma and dad, even with insurance they need assistance with vehicle rentals back n forth, food, possible overnight stays etc.
While any donation is appreciated, so are thoughts and prayers.
From one family to another, it seriously does take a village! And from our village we absolutely THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
