UPDATE: After a long and hard fight, Hermione sadly fell asleep for the last time in Emily's arms. We are asking for help from anyone who is willing and able to donate so that Emily can pay off the rest of the debt that piled up for Hermione's treatment. Emily would also really love it if she could cremate Hermione so that she can be with her forever. Any help to cover the expenses is absolutely appreciated

This is my sister, Emily, and her cat, Hermione. Emily and Hermione are best friends and have been for the past eight-nine years. Recently, Hermione has started to become very ill. After taking her to a vet, it has been confirmed that Hermione has diabetes and will need to be hospitalized until she is stabilized.

Emily is a freshman in college, studying to become a veterinarian herself, and does not have the financial means to cover the costs of the vet bill on her own. We are asking for help raising money to cover vet expenses and keep Emily and her best friend together for years to come.
