My name is Emily Binet. I’m a single 40 year old mother with a 19 year old son and a 22 months year old daughter. Our apartment was severely damaged to our neighbor causing a fire that spread from his apartment to ours. Everything connected to our living room and his is completely destroyed. Our cat that we had living with us is no where to be found, and is possibly dead. All of our clothes, materials, food, etc have been damaged/contaminated because of the smoke. Whatever we do have has the smells of the fumes from the fire. We are currently staying in a hotel as of right now for 2 days, but we essentially have no home to live in.
