Support Emily and Everett After Brody's Tragic Loss

Update 9/5: Hello everyone! The family and I can not even begin to express how incredibly greatful we are for the love, support and donations we have received this far. My name is Dalaney Mangham, and I am raising funds for my dear friend, Emily Montes. On September 3rd, Emily’s husband, Brody Montes, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident.

Brody was only 19 years old. He was a kind, hardworking, and well-respected young man who grew up in Liberty Hill. In his time with us he was deeply loved by the members of the community especially the Varsity Football team. It was here at Liberty Hill High School that he met the love of his life, Emily. After being together since their freshman year of high school, Brody and Emily got married in February 2025.

Together, they welcomed their son, Everett, just two months ago. Brody was the main provider for his family, and his sudden passing has left Emily and their newborn facing unimaginable grief and financial hardship.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and to provide support for Emily and Everette as they navigate life without Brody. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward easing their burden and ensuring Emily and Everette have the support they need during this devastating time.

Brody is survived by his wife, son, parents, and three siblings, along with countless friends and community members who loved him dearly.
