Emily and Cassidy Casteel were involved in a serious automobile accident on Highway 65, just south of Louisburg, yesterday.

Emily, who is currently 26 weeks pregnant and already has one child, has sustained multiple fractures in her jaw and will undergo surgery this afternoon, during which her jaw will be wired shut for approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Additionally, she has several broken ribs and medical professionals are closely monitoring the health of her unborn baby.

Cassidy, a mother of three, has also suffered significant injuries, including several broken vertebrae and broken ribs.

Both women face a lengthy recovery process, which will require extended time away from work and may result in substantial medical expenses, as well as increased travel costs for family members who wish to assist with childcare and support during this challenging time.
