Our wonderful friend lost his life Saturday, April 14, to a firearm accident when a gun that a friend was showing him went off and ended his life instantly and all too early.
In his 18 year relationship with Emily, he had been through so much. He suffered through seven years with the debilitating disease of RSD. Through this long and arduous time, Emily stood by him and cared for him until one day a miracle happened and he was healed. After three years of physical therapy, he was successfully able to walk again for short periods of time. With his newly regained strength, he married the love of his life during a beautiful wedding in the summer of 2014. Three years later in this miraculous story, their beautiful daughter Violet was born.
In January, Emily and Greg purchased their first home. Two months later, Violet celebrated her first birthday. Greg, being disabled, was able to be Violets main caregiver while Emily pursued her dream and calling of becoming a nurse. With only two weeks left of college before becoming a registered nurse, they were finally able to see the light of financial security.
