Family and friends ~ By now, most of you have all heard that our dear friend with a gentle spirit, Nash Carlisle, passed away on January 8, 2025.
As Nash was not able to work for the last several years, I am especially thankful to God that Nash was blessed with an amazing wife, Emily, who took care of him at their home.
We all knew Nash - Nash was unique, Nash was one-of-a-kind... you could always count on him for that authentic hug, smile, kind word, love he showed for his family and friends, and always positive attitude covering what was ailing him... Nash was ours. Whoever knew him was blessed.
Nash left an adoring wife who is now faced with earthly grief and struggling. Unfortunately, there is hardship with planning and logistics for a service befitting for Nash and added future expenses. As an Adventist faith and Christian community, we mourn differently and know that Jesus is coming so very soon! For now, Emily needs our help and we must help those who our loved ones leave behind for a while.
Many of you expressed verbally and in writing, what can we do to help?! Please let us know how to help!?... In response to those questions and the very big need, this fund is opened.
This fund and funds raised will really help Emily - to cover losses, the exorbitant expenses she will be facing, future expenses to avoid going deeper in debt to pay for the memorial and funeral arrangements, and to assist for the next few months to get her back to independence. It takes a large faith community.
Family and friends, asking you to consider helping if you are able to do so... Emily is so deeply grateful for your consideration and donation. Especially grateful for prayers of comfort which passes all understanding at this time.
As of today, the service is planned for:
Sunday, January 26, 2025, 12:30 pm
Granite Bay Hilltop SDA Church
6605 Sierra College Blvd.
Granite Bay, CA 95746
Please keep Emily and his mother, Barbara, in your prayers.
With deep thanks and forever gratitude,
Emily and friends who loved him very much!
