Support Emilio’s Journey Fighting DIPG

Hi my name is Michelle Ruiz, I am asking for donations on behalf of my cousin Dalia and her family to ease the financial burden they have just acquired. On Sunday February 25th, their whole life changed. Their son who once was an energetic, silly, playful, and independent seven year old who loves tacos, soccer & Spider-Man, was quickly diagnosed with a rare & very aggressive brain stem cancer, DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). DIPG has quick onset and rapid progression. This very quickly started to affect his activities of daily living, including walking, speech, eating etc. Treatment options for this tumor are limited, aggressive and require full-time around the clock parental care. Any and all donations will help with medical bills, transportation expenses for his daily treatments and other household expenses. His parents are currently unable to work due to their full-time commitment to Emilio, their 9 year old daughter Nicole and their 6 month old baby Hannah. This family has also overcome many obstacles throughout their life, any donation and all prayers are appreciated.

Hola mi nombre es Michelle Ruiz, solicito donaciones en nombre de mi prima Dalia y su familia para aliviar la carga económica que acaban de adquiri. El domingo 25 de febrero toda su vida cambió. Su hijo, que alguna vez fue un niño de siete años chistoso, enérgico, juguetón e independiente, al que le encantan los tacos y pizza, el fútbol y Spider-Man, fue diagnosticado con un cáncer del tronco encefálico raro y agresivo, D.I.P.G (glioma pontino intrínseco difuso). DIPG tiene un inicio rápido y una progresión rápida. Esto muy rápidamente comenzó a afectar sus actividades de la vida diaria, como caminar, hablar, comer, etc. Las opciones de tratamiento para este tumor son limitadas, agresivas y requieren atención parental a tiempo completo las 24 horas del día. Todas y cada una de las donaciones ayudarán con las facturas médicas, los gastos para sus tratamientos diarios y otros gastos del hogar. Actualmente sus padres no pueden trabajar debido al compromiso de tiempo completo que ahora requiere Emilio. Esta familia ha superado muchos obstáculos a lo largo de su vida, cualquier donación y todas las oraciones son agradecidas.
