My name is Gricelda Vargas, and I am reaching out for help for my brother, Emilio Vargas, who is currently fighting for his life in the ICU. While incarcerated, Emilio became very sick and showed serious symptoms, including a severe cough. Despite his condition, he did not receive proper medical attention in time. His illness worsened into a rare and aggressive pneumonia that caused devastating damage to his lung. Doctors have told us that his left lung is no longer functioning and developed a hole due to the infection. Emilio is now battling for his life. By the grace of God, he has made small improvements, but he still has a long and uncertain road to recovery.

We are seeking justice and accountability for the lack of medical care he received while in prison. We urgently need to hire an experienced attorney to investigate his case and help us fight for his rights.
