Support Emilia's fight against cancer

Emilia has been fighting a long battle with metastatic Ewing sarcoma for the past 2+ years since she turned 21yo. This is a rare form of aggressive cancer that is especially uncommon in young adults. She has endured 1 year of in-hospital chemotherapy treatments for two weeks out of every month in addition to several rounds of radiation therapy, 2 major surgeries, and a multitude of other painful and stressful diagnostic procedures. Despite completing the standard course of treatment, resulting in extreme stress on her mentally, physically, spiritually, the cancer did not abate and continues to be active. She completed several additional tiers of 2nd line therapy, none of which were further significantly effective. Ultimately, the options offered by standard therapy after consults with subspecialists in multiple top rated hospitals have become very bleak. After this defeating news, she further was given a new diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome, which is a cancer on the leukemia spectrum that developed as a complication of her original chemotherapy. The family has been left devastated with now diagnoses of two cancers. Despite no standard solutions to this situation, there is a promising treatment involving an integrative approach of complementary and standard therapies. This type of treatment takes a multifaceted approach to starve the cancer while additionally allowing her body to strengthen its natural resources to fight the cancer. These treatments are done alongside chemotherapy, giving her a chance to extend her life at the young age of 24. Such an approach involves many supplements, several low risk drugs and IV infusions, administered in a specialty medical clinic, all of which are not covered by insurance. Emilia has dreams of marrying her long-term boyfriend, working in cyber security as her field of passion, and traveling the world, especially Japan. Her illness has taken so much away from her. She dreams of a future where she can continue to grow with her loved ones and experience life.
