My name is Emiliano Dunton. I’m a Black quadriplegic father, a survivor of gun violence, and the founder of AA8 Corporation, a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in rural Oxford, NC.

We provide robotics, cybersecurity, and AI education to underserved youth, especially rural students from low-income areas in Granville County and surrounding counties. These are the innovators of tomorrow and I make sure they see someone who looks like them leading today.

But what many don’t know is…

To show up for my kids, I often have to ride my power wheelchair 3 to 6 miles on the side of the road to reach the lab.

Still, I roll up. I lead weekly robotics labs. I deliver laptops to students without access. I mentor the next generation of tech leaders.
