On November 30, 2025, my little cousin Emery-J was severely injured and sustained burns from his chest down to his toes. He was medevac'd to Kapiolani Medical Center on Oahu for treatment and care. Undergoing multiple surgeries, pain, and therapy, he will remain in Oahu for an undetermined amount of time. It will be a very long road of recovery ahead of him.

He is a very loving and outgoing twelve-year-old. He loves his family and playing sports. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and it breaks our hearts that he won't be celebrating the holidays with us, as he will be in the hospital fighting to get better on another island.

I am making this GoFundMe to help my cousin and her family with any expenses. I know being away from your child for a long time is very hard, and she has two other sons to take care of at home. As someone who went through seeing my child suffer and not knowing how I'm going to get through everything, I know how she must feel.
