Dear Friends, Family, and Theater Enthusiasts,

My name is Zach Kautter, and I am a recent graduate of Boston University. I started a theater production company in 2024 and I’m proud to share the next chapter of our journey at PK Productions: We are producing Off-Broadway.

This marks a major step forward for us not only as artists, but as a newly official nonprofit organization. Since our founding, PK Productions has helped shape the early careers of over 50 young artists by giving them a platform to create, collaborate, and take risks. Our mission is simple but urgent: to provide meaningful opportunities for emerging artists to tell bold stories and develop their craft.

After the success of our debut production, Constellations, which we brought to life in front of over 200 audience members at the Boston Center for the Arts, we knew we were ready for something even more ambitious. That success taught us what’s possible when young artists are given space to lead.

Now, we’re taking that same spirit and scaling it up in New York City.

The Documentary

In addition to the production itself, we’re creating a behind-the-scenes documentary that captures the full process of young artists building an Off-Broadway show from the ground up. From creative breakthroughs to logistical hurdles, this film will offer an honest, unfiltered look at what it means to run a production company and bring ambitious theater to life as a group of early-career professionals.
