I volunteered to put together 100 emergency food bags or boxes this weekend for Ontario County DSS. Tom and I can cover 10 sets of these but another 90 would be about $1800. Here's what I'm minimally collecting: reusable shopping bag, 2 cans of hearty (not condensed) soups with pull tabs, a box or microwavable pouch of pasta, a jar of tomato sauce, a can or pouch of chicken, a can or pouch of tuna, a small jar of peanut butter, a small jar of jelly, a box of saltines, at least two bottles of water.
