My daughter Ember is 7 years old and has always been a bright light in our lives. She has autism, GI issues, and was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Over the past six months, Ember has experienced severe bloating, and X-rays have revealed inflammation in her intestines. Her doctors are concerned that this inflammation could cause serious damage, including the risk of intestinal death.

To get answers and help Ember heal, she will be undergoing a colonoscopy and endoscopy, during which three biopsies will be taken. On top of that, Ember is facing a major, invasive hip surgery. These next few months will be filled with procedures, hospital visits, and long trips back and forth to Fort Worth so she can see the specialists she needs.

The cost of Ember’s care has grown beyond what our family can manage. Medical bills, travel expenses, and the price of her surgeries are overwhelming. All funds raised will go directly to Ember’s medical bills, helping us make sure she gets the care she needs.
