Support Emberly's Fight Against Kidney Cancer

Hi, my name is Rachael O'Conner. I am trying to help raise money for my granddaughter, Emberly Kate O'Conner.

Emberly is 2 years old and will turn three in August. On May the 25, 2024 we received the worst news any family can hear. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer. We found out that she has a tumor in both of her kidneys. The left kidney has a massive tumor that is about 6", and right kidney has a smaller tumor. She was immediately admitted into Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN where she stayed 5 nights. She received her port on May 26, and started chemo on May 28th.

She will receive chemo once a week for 12 weeks, and a CT scan @ 6 and 12 weeks to see if the tumors are shrinking. They are hoping to shrink the tumor and be able to perform surgery to remove what's left of the tumor in the left kidney and/or kidney. She has a long journey ahead of her, but I know in my heart she's going to beat this vicious disease and share her testimony one day.
