Ember & Skye need your help!

This mama, Ember and her puppy, Skye were rescued from being euthanized a few months ago. Sadly, their first foster fell through and the most recent one took them to Kerville and dumped them. Their lives and foster challenges have been extremely rough. They are both safe now and truly need stable, consistent and love filled homes.

These girls were rescued with the understanding they would be supported financially by a sponsor until they were adopted.

Sadly, a week after they were rescued, the funding for these sweet girls was taken away. Now they are in a desperate situation not only needing fosters or adopters, but also needing help to support them financially until they are adopted.

Mama, Ember is 2 years, 6 months and about 44 pounds.

She is a tri-color Heeler blend

She is highly intelligent, loves to play, run, go for rides and on adventures!

She has an active mind and loves learning and things to do.

She really loves to cuddle and share love

Puppy, Skye (girl) is 9 months old, approx 24 pounds.

She is a tan/white/brown Heeler blend.

She really loves to run, play with friends and toys, cuddle and share love.

She is a very smart girl and loves learning.

She is extremely well behaved, is potty trained and loves to go for rides and on adventures too!

Both girls would thrive in an active home or ranch with a fenced yard and room to run around.

Both love to sleep inside and be close to their people.

They are spayed and current on vaccines

They are heartworm negative

They are very sweet, happy and sociable girls

Very good with people and other dogs

Both girls are in training with cats and doing well with supervision.

These girls truly need good, safe homes with lots of love!

They have been temporarily placed with paid sitters and this, along with their food and care has been extremely expensive. They will need financial support until they are adopted.
