With a lengthy hospital stay anticipated, the families of Emmalinka Cooper and Damien Wilson are reaching out and asking for support.
Em and Damo's lives have taken an unexpected turn. On the 20th March, Ollie Wilson entered the world 12 weeks early. What should have been a time of joy and happiness has quickly turned into uncertainty.
Emmalinka was rushed to the Mercy Hospital in Melbourne via Air Ambulance due to severe pre-eclampsia. Ollie was delivered by emergency C-section. Our little fighter came into the world facing challenges and is now battling a critical infection.
While Emmalinka is still recovering in hospital, Ollie in NICU and Damo taking time off work to be with his little family, the burden of medical bills and everyday expenses are forgoing.
