Support E’lynn’s Epilepsy Surgery & Recovery
Donation protected
On June 29th, our beloved E’lynn, 10 years old, was admitted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital after experiencing prolonged seizures that would not stop. Despite days of heavy sedation and eventually needing to be intubated on July 3rd, her seizures have continued. After many discussions with her medical team, we have made the difficult decision to move forward with surgery on July 21st in hopes of gaining some control over her epilepsy. While this surgery is not expected to cure her seizures entirely, it is a necessary step to give her the best possible quality of life.
E’lynn has been living with epilepsy since she was 3 years old, with no known cause. Through every challenge, she has remained a light in our lives and in the lives of everyone who meets her. Her sweet spirit, loving nature, and infectious joy have touched so many. Last school year, her personal goals were simply “to be a good helper and a great friend”—and she has truly been just that.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and loved ones for help during this incredibly challenging time. Donations will go toward medical expenses, therapy costs, post-op care, and a new medication that could offer her a better chance at seizure control. No amount is too small, and every share or prayer means the world to us. Please help us give E’lynn the fighting chance she deserves. With love and gratitude, E’lynn’s family.
