The Ely Nordic Wolves Ski Team-Today and Beyond

We are the Ely Nordic Ski Team. Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We are excited to have just celebrated our first 25 years and are preparing for the next 25 years! We want to continue the legacy of the team by meeting current and future needs, and we need your help! We are currently fundraising for new uniforms, a test fleet of skis, a generator, a wax room, ski equipment updates, and a cushion to help manage transportation, our single largest expense. Every contribution makes a difference. From a proud 25 years to the next 25 years, our Overall Goal: $25,000.

How You Can Help the Team by Donating

Level 1: $50, buys a seat on a bus to get to a ski meet.

Level 2: $100, buys a replacement ski binding as we transition to an entirely NNN fleet of rental skis.

Level 3: $250, buys a new uniform to last a decade.

Level 4: $500, buys a complete waxing station in a team wax room.

Level 5: $1000, buys a pair of skate and classic skis for wax testing.

Level 6: Beyond, helps the team stabilize into the future with transportation and other unexpected changes.

We are thrilled to share that a generous donor has offered to match the first $5,000 raised for our campaign. That means every dollar you give today will count twice, up to that $5,000 threshold.

Skiing is expensive, and the Nordic Wolves Team includes and benefits from athletes of all economic backgrounds. We continue to provide all ski gear for any skier who needs it. We take pride in making skiing possible and in promoting striving athletes for any student in grades 6-12. We hope to continue to offer a sustaining, credible program with high standards.

However, we are an underdog as many high school teams are bigger than Ely High School! We travel long distances, are only partially funded by the district, and heavily rely on year-round fundraising to keep moving forward. As expenses increase, the situation is difficult. That’s why your support is vital to our success. In addition to donating, please share our fundraising with friends and family and help us continue this legacy for Ely skiers today and beyond!
