Unfortunately it seems like the most tragic situations tend to happen to the most incredible people there are. By now most everyone has heard about the heartbreaking news that has suddenly grasped ahold of one of our most favorite local guys and his incredible wife and family. ❤️
It has been confirmed that Elvis has been diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Over the course of 4-6 very sudden, and very short last few weeks, all of our lives have changed with this news but not as much as his, Misti's or his beloved familie's life has. Memory loss, speech inconsistencies, incoherent moments, debilitating head pain... all lead to the discovery of some seriously fast growing tumors on his brain, which put him into immediate emergency surgery. Histopathology results are in, and although the news isn't what we wanted to hear, Elvis is a fighter!
However, the fight has just begun for all of them. Mentally, emotionally, physically, and especially financially. With such a sudden loss of income under all else, it is still an added stressor. I have started this benefit in hopes of gaining his family a little bit of help as they begin this chemo and radiation journey.
The funds will be directly deposited into his wife, Misti's, bank account.
We all know how this family pulls together when one of us is down. Now is our time to shine. ❤️
