I'm Elvis Piggott, and as many of you know, I was informed on Labor Day that my home was devastated by an electrical fire, attributed to five faulty breakers in the circuit box. Upon rushing home, I found that everything—my clothing, shoes, and all personal belongings—had been completely destroyed. It took me a full day to process this terrifying reality, especially after receiving numerous calls urging me to contact my homeowners insurance, which they said could help us find temporary housing.

When I reached out to my insurance, I discovered that while my mortgage payments included homeowners insurance and property tax, only the structure of the home was covered. This left us with nothing, not to mention the cash that was unfortunately left in the house.

Now, I find myself in a difficult position, seeking your assistance to help us recover some personal items and cover hotel costs until our situation stabilizes.
