On November 25th, Jefferson received a call that no one ever expects—his mother had fallen ill and was on her way to the emergency room. What began that day became one of the hardest journeys a son could ever face.Elvira was admitted due to shortness of breath, and over the course of 24 days, her condition worsened as her liver, lungs, and heart began to fail. Sadly, she passed away this morning with Jefferson by her side.To know Jefferson is to know the incredible love he had for his mother, and to know Elvira is to know what an amazing woman and mother she was. There is no comparison to the bond they shared.

It is only right that Elvira is given the beautiful funeral she deserves. If you are able to donate toward funeral expenses, it would greatly help ease the burden that has been placed on Jefferson during this incredibly difficult time for him and his family.
