Support Elvin's Recovery After Brain Surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
On February 25th, my cousin Venessa and her fiancé Elvin’s lives were turned upside down in the blink of an eye. Elvin had a headache for a few days and woke up on the morning of the 25th struggling to get out of bed. Venessa took him to the hospital, and a few hours later they received news that Elvin had a major brain bleed and a tumor the size of a softball on his frontal lobe. Elvin underwent an emergency craniotomy and a second surgery to remove part of the tumor. In 6-8 weeks, the doctor plans to do another MRI to determine the best way to remove the remaining portion of the tumor.
A few months ago, Elvin started a new job with a medical supply company that he absolutely loves. However, due to being there for such a short time, he is still considered “temporary” and does not qualify for disability or FMLA, leaving Venessa and Elvin with one income during this difficult time.
At this time, we are asking for family and friends to come together to help relieve some of the financial strain this puts on them with bills, hospital costs, and Ubers to get Venessa to and from the hospital. If you are unable to financially assist, all prayers and positive vibes are greatly appreciated ❤️
