Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for help for my mother, Elvie, who is currently facing unexpected medical challenges.

Recently, the northern part of Cebu, Philippines was hit by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake on September 30, 2025. Families back home, including my mother, have been staying and sleeping outside due to safety concerns.

My mother has a chronic illness, and the trauma of the earthquake caused her health to decline rapidly, leading to dehydration and malnutrition. She is currently admitted at Chong Hua Hospital in Mandaue, Cebu City, and is scheduled to undergo a US-guided abdominal drainage procedure.

Unfortunately, the cost of her medical care has become more than I can manage alone. I am humbly asking for your help — through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this page — to help ease some of the burden and allow us to focus on what truly matters: her healing and recovery.
