Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,
My name is John Caicedo, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Elsa Murillo, a loving 63-year-old woman who has been bravely fighting stage 4 colon cancer for over three years. Throughout this journey, Elsa has endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, tried multiple treatment approaches, and even explored holistic therapies in hopes of finding relief. Despite the toll it has taken on her body, she continues to fight every single day with incredible strength and faith. Recently, Elsa began stem cell therapy, a treatment that has started to show promising results. For the first time in a long time, we feel a spark of hope, but unfortunately, the costs are overwhelming. Insurance does not cover most of the treatment, and our family is struggling to keep up with the expenses that include:
• $30,000 for continuous stem cell treatments and specialized medicines including light chemotherapy to prevent the further spread.
• $8,000 for at-home nursing care and medical support.
• $6,000 for a healthier, cancer-supportive diet and supplements.
• $6,000 for hospital visits, travel, and unexpected expenses.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover these essential costs so Elsa can continue her treatment and focus on healing. We are asking for your help to keep this treatment going and give Elsa the best possible chance at more time with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward her care. If you aren’t able to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be willing to support her journey. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading Elsa’s story, for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers, and for helping us continue this fight.
With gratitude,
John Caicedo and the Caicedo Family.
