Support Eloise's Healing Journey

We are starting this gofundme for our dear friends, Breanna and Alex Tabor, as their sweet daughter Eloise has been admitted to the PICU at Phoenix Children’s hospital.

On Friday, November 8th Breanna and Alex took Eloise into urgent care as she had been limping and having a hard time walking on her right leg. They took x-rays and confirmed that there was no brake or fracture. The doctors told them to give Eloise ibuprofen and that if her limp doesn’t get better to take her into the ER.

On Saturday morning, Alex went to work and Breanna stayed home with Eloise. She noticed that Eloise was limping and having a hard time keeping her balance. When Alex got home from work that day they agreed that her limp was in fact worse so after dinner they took her into the ER at Phoenix Children’s hospital. They did additional x-rays and confirmed that there was no brake or fracture so they were discharged and sent home around midnight. As they were walking to the car, Eloise started having a seizure in Alex’s arms. Breanna then took Eloise and ran her back into the ER. They took her back immediately and she continued to seize for over an hour. Unfortunately her body was not responding to the medications they were giving her at the time. They were then admitted to the PICU for further testing and observation.

When they were brought up to the PICU, Eloise was quickly intubated to protect her airway as all of the medications she was given made her very sleepy. They also put a continuous EEG on her head to monitor her brain and seizure activity. Since being admitted, Eloise has had several MRI tests done and has gotten a PICC (central line) to help her body get the medicine that she needs to get better. There are still many unknowns at this time but we are all praying a quick healing.

Due to this unexpected hospitalization, Breanna and Alex have had to take off work to be there for Eloise. As you can imagine, this has impacted them in more ways than one. With that being said, we are asking for any and all donations that you are able and willing to give to help relieve the financial burden of hospital bills and taking time off of work.
