Hi, my name is Simone, and I’m fundraising to support my 13-year-old son, Elnathan, with his violin lessons as he prepares for his Grade 8 exam.
Elnathan’s Musical Journey
Elnathan began learning the violin at age 6, and that same year he won the Tru Little Hero Musician Award for his outstanding early progress. Since then, his passion and dedication have grown every year.
He has:
- performed at the Royal College of Music as a young guest violinist
- played with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the BBC Maida Vale Studios
- been invited as a guest violinist at the Royalton Resort in St Lucia
- received the Audience Award at his past music school's concert
- worked with the violin coach for the film Chevalier
His teacher believes he has real potential and he practises with dedication, and has lessons every week.
Due to a sudden change in our household income, I’m currently unable to cover the cost of his lessons. I am applying for bursaries, but those decisions take time, and I don’t want him to lose momentum or miss lessons during this important stage of his development.
If you are able to contribute anything toward his tuition, even £5, it would make a real difference in helping him stay consistent with his learning. Every contribution goes directly toward his lessons with his violin teacher, Dr. John Littlejohn.
