Support Elmer's New Beginning After Fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Katie Carrillo and I am organizing this GoFundMe for my dad, Elmer Taylor. Elmer started Bourbon Street Auto Body in 1998 in Georgetown, KY. His goal was to provide the Georgetown community with a “go-to” place to get quality auto body repairs at an affordable price. Elmer has given so much of himself to his business in order to provide for the community. Many times, he would help others even if they could not pay because he knew that people needed their vehicles for their day-to-day life. He did everything that he could to do right by his clients.
Unfortunately, early in the morning on April 14, Elmer’s body shop caught fire and the building was a total loss. He is currently working to try and get set up in a new shop in Cynthiana so that he can continue to work on the cars that he was able to salvage and get them to their owners. He wants to be able to finish the jobs for the people he made a promise to, but he needs some help to get things going in the new place.
We are asking for financial assistance to help him get through this transition period. We know that there are many people in the community that he was able to help, and we want to rally behind him and help him during his time of need.
