Support Elmer's Miraculous Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On March 5th, Elmer ended up in a hospital in Tupelo, Mississippi with congestive heart failure. A procedure was performed to clip his leaking valve and he spent 14 days on a ventilator in the C.C.U. Originally, the doctors were not optimistic about his survival or probability of leaving the hospital but - to everyone's surprise - Elmer came off of the ventilator and continued getting stronger each day. The doctors and nurses call him a "walking miracle."
Elmer was discharged from the hospital on March 28th and is now in a rehab facility in Mississippi to regain his strength and mobility. He's expected to spend 1-2 weeks there, then he will move back to Pennsylvania to continue his recovery journey.
We are grateful to those who join us in supporting him as he focuses on getting healthy. Donations made will go towards travel expenses, medical needs, and financial support during this time of not being able to work. To those who know and love Elmer, we are certain that God's best plan for him is to live and be well. His best days are still to come!
