Hey folks! My name is Ellis (he/him), and I am raising money for my top surgery. I'm 26, and I've been on T for over 4 years. I married the love of my life last October, we bought our first house last year, and we adopted a puppy! Our lives have been pretty insane.

I was supposed to be getting my surgery in March of this year (2026), but I found out that insurance wouldn't cover it when the new year rolled around. Out of pocket costs can be $8-$10k, which just isn't something we can swing. (Especially in this economy!) I've had to postpone the surgery indefinitely until I can either figure out new insurance or somehow save up the money.

I'm keeping my hopes up regardless. It's been a rough several years, and I'm really ready for this step. It's the last really big thing I need to do to feel happy with my transition and my body, and I can't wait to feel even more at home in my skin. This will help me feel safer, happier, and more confident. I know that even if it doesn't happen now, I'll find a way someday, but I'm really hoping to figure out how to take this step sooner rather than later.
