Hi, my name is Claire and I'm raising funds and awareness for my sister Elli.

Elli was hit by a car while riding her motorcycle, and we are lucky that she's still with us today. Her left elbow was severely dislocated in the accident, and she is also suffering from major damage to her ligaments and tendons in that arm. Elli also sustained two fractures to her pelvis, which have left her largely immobilized for the time being.

Elli’s doctors have told us that this type of elbow injury typically results in amputation. Fortunately, this is not the case for Elli - but she will need surgery to repair the damage that has been done as well as several months of physical therapy. The fractures in her pelvis will require months of rest and physical therapy to return her to a normal lifestyle. Presently, the furthest Elli can walk is about 20 feet.

These injuries and medical bills in addition to Elli’s inability to return to work for the foreseeable future, leave her in need of help.
