Help Support Ellis Hall on His Long Road to Recovery
On March 2, our dear friend Ellis Hall was admitted to the hospital with a serious cellulitis infection. What began as a painful but treatable condition quickly turned into a medical nightmare.
By March 14, he was transferred to a Nursing and Rehab Center and was showing signs of improvement. But everything changed in an instant—he went into ventricular fibrillation 18 times, and each time, he had to be shocked. The medical team fought for him, and so did he.
Now, Ellis is fighting to recover from the unimaginable. He is currently:
• On a ventilator with a tracheostomy
• Receiving nutrition through a feeding tube
• On dialysis three times a week for acute kidney failure
• Only able to respond to small commands
• Facing uncertain brain damage
On May 29, he was moved to a specialty unit in Harrisburg where he will continue his long-term care and rehabilitation.
The family is doing all they can, but the financial burden is overwhelming. They are only receiving temporary disability, which barely covers basic household needs. Due to the distance and travel expenses, they can only visit him twice a week, which breaks their hearts.
We are humbly asking for help to cover:
• Medical bills not covered by insurance
• Travel costs to and from Harrisburg
• Household expenses while the family supports him during this recovery
• Any specialized care or equipment he may need in the future
Ellis is a fighter, and we believe in his strength—but he can’t do this alone. Any amount helps, and if you can’t give, please share this page and keep him in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
