Support Ellis' Final Journey Home

I'm raising money to pay for a Jewish burial for our beloved New York Post photographer pal Ellis Kaplan, who died suddenly last week at 78.

Ellis had virtually no family and very little money, and his body remains unclaimed at the city morgue. I'm working with the Jewish organization Misaskim to recover the body and give it the dignity it deserves.

The Hebrew Free Burial Organization could handle the burial for about $4,000, but I'd like to see if we can raise enough to bury him close to his parents on Long Island. That would cost upwards of $10,000. Let's see what we can raise, friends, and bless you all.
