Hi, my name is Savannah Myers. My son Elliott was born with a cleft lip and palate. November 16th 2023. He had his lip surgery June 26th 2024. He is now due for his palate surgery. He may need some extra time in the hospital depending on feedings. Between the surgery itself and the recovery, it’s going to be a rough ride. I’m a mother of 6. My youngest is only 6 months old, and I exclusively breastfeeding. The traveling and the time I will have to spend away from my other kids is going to be difficult. The gas for traveling, getting ready for back to school and the time off of work my husband will need to take is going to set us even further behind on all bills. Anything helps at this point, even a share! This may not be his only surgery, but this one will be super invasive and have a much longer healing process. The surgery is September 10th.
