Help Elliott Recover from Top Surgery

Hi friends!

Many of you know that at the beginning of 2019 I started the journey toward receiving gender affirming top surgery. Its been a long wait but I finally have a surgery date- January 7th, 2020! 

I'm beyond excited and very fortunate that my surgery cost will be covered by Medicaid. However, the recovery period is daunting.  I have no savings or expendable income (I work part-time which is all I can manage currently), and surgery will put me out of work for anywhere from two weeks to a month. Without financial help from my community I will not be able to afford:
1. medical supplies for my recovery
2. food for me and my pet rabbit
3. rent!

Many of you have already offered your help in the past several months which has astounded me. I cant express my thanks enough to those who have checked in on how I'm doing or offered to come visit me post-surgery. I have an amazing partner as well as a few others I know will be there to care for me, but it's incredible to know I could call on you to visit or help me out at such a vulnerable time. I appreciate you all so much!

Any donations I receive that I don't end up using for my needs post-surgery I will be passing along to other friends in need. I will also have four size Large binders from GC2B I will be able to pass along to someone after surgery! :)
