Support Elliott — He Fought for Stability, Now He Needs Us
Elliott is my older brother — by 11 months. We grew up side by side, then spent some years living in different states. But when he moved to California a few years ago, we reconnected in the best way. For a while, he lived just minutes from me! What a special time!

Recently, Elliott was in a serious car accident on the highway.

After a late event, he was heading home when another driver cut him off, forcing him into a median. The crash was bad. He ended up with a collapsed lung, multiple broken ribs, and a broken jaw. His car is totaled. He’s now out of work and recovering at home in Oakland — unable to return to any of his jobs for at least two months.

If you know Elliott, you know how hard he’s worked to build his life. Just before the accident, he was juggling three jobs — full-time work in plumbing supply sales, part-time work as an assistant coach for a local church basketball league, and building stages for artists and events around the Bay Area.

Elliott has never had an easy route. He went from experiencing homelessness to having his own apartment, his own car, and a routine he was proud of. He built that stability from the ground up.

Now, one accident has put all of that at risk.

Although he has health insurance, it won’t cover everything — and without income, there’s no way to keep up with rent, food, or daily living expenses. He would never ask for help himself — so I’m doing it for him.

Right now, our mom is in California helping him while he recovers. I’m in Texas, doing what I can from a distance, and hoping to visit soon. One thing I can do is ask for support from our wider community — friends, family, and anyone moved by his story.

What the Funds Will Cover
We’re hoping to raise funds to help Elliott cover:
  • Rent and utilities while he’s out of work
  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses
  • Groceries, transportation, and daily living costs during recovery

❤️ Why This Matters
Elliott is a worker, a coach, a brother, a fighter. He’s already thinking about how to get back on his feet — back to coaching, back to work, back to doing what he loves. But he can’t do that without first healing and having a little support to bridge the gap.

If you’re able to give, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If not, please consider sharing this campaign. Every little bit helps.
