Hello! My name is Elliot Gorelick. I am a first-year film production student at Loyola Marymount University. This summer, on June 26th, 27th, and 28th, I will be directing my first original short film, "The Waiting Room" (unaffiliated with LMU).

Last semester, I had the privilege of taking a Screenwriting 120 class, where I elevated my storytelling abilities and developed the script for my project. I also brought on two of my classmates to be my producer and director of photography. My small but dedicated crew is thrilled to make this story come to life, but unfortunately, with the high costs of filmmaking, I need your help.

I need to raise money to rent gear, add production design to our location, buy wardrobe, and cover many other expenses that are necessary for creating a great production. My producer and I intend to take this film on festival circuits and not let it "sit on the shelf" like most first-year productions. With your help, I truly believe this film will spark my career as a young filmmaker.
