Support Elliot Little's Marching Career

I am looking to help raise funds to offset the tuition cost that comes with this activity.

This April, I have been fortunate enough to earn a spot as a section leader in the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps, and will be touring the country from the west coast to the east coast following the DCI (drum corps international) tour this summer. Tuition this year is $5000 for the whole summer of learning and developing our show, traveling, and living with the rest of the corps. I have earned a scholarship that has helped with the majority of my funds, and have been putting almost all of my paychecks from my job towards my tuition here at Cascades, but still, the financial burden is a lot for me to pursue this activity that means the world to me.

A little background on my story:
My name is Elliot Little and I've been involved in the marching arts since 7th grade. I have done drumline all throughout high school marching band, and have done WGI, DCI, and even college band. During my junior year of high school, I got a contract to march world-class drum corps with the Seattle Cascades (2023). I had the summer of my life, pushing myself to new limits and getting to travel the country, spending countless hours rehearsing, performing, and making friends and connections along the way. I was all set to return for the following season with a contract at Cascades and the opportunities to pursue other contracts at other corps, but I could not because of the financial burden it would've been on me and my family to try to get the funds (around $5000 for a season), after paying off another season of WGI (competitive indoor drumline) all while trying to pay and get into college. I ended up forfeiting my contract and was not able to march Cascades for the 2024 season, but luckily enough, I was given a spot on the drumline at the Boise Gems, which I am so thankful for, as it was a LOT cheaper, and gave me a fun, short, summer season where I could march with my friends. Still, watching Cascades at the shows and feeling like an outsider to a family that I found the year before was hard for me, and it sucked feeling like I was missing out just because I couldn’t afford it

This past winter, I had the honor to march with IMPACT Percussion, a world-class WGI group in Kennewick, WA. IMPACT Percussion is the best indoor drumline group to be a part of here in the PNW and I found myself growing as a player and a person as I take on one of the hardest shows I've ever had to learn. The tuition at IMPACT was also very expensive, and I had to drive up to Washington every weekend to rehearse, which was costly. That being said, IMPACT did nothing but grow my love for the activity, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the ensemble.

I am asking for donations to help me financially because I have truly learned and found purpose in this activity. This is something that is very special to me and has taught me many life lessons, and given me guidance in life that I feel like I couldn't find anywhere else. I love this activity so much and it would mean the world to me if you could help me achieve my goals.
