My name is Ellie, and I just turned 21. Right before I turned 21, I received the life-changing news that I have Stage 4 Lymphoma. The masses are spreading, and it’s been a difficult journey coming to terms with my diagnosis. I have just started chemotherapy. The emotional and physical challenges are overwhelming, but I am doing my best to stay strong and hopeful as I face this next chapter.
One of the biggest hurdles I’m facing is the cost of treatment and traveling to my appointments. Chemotherapy, related medical expenses, and the cost of getting to and from the hospital are adding up quickly, and it’s more than I can manage on my own. I am reaching out to my community for help so I can focus on healing without the constant worry about how to pay for the care I need.
If there’s any money at all you can spare, or if you could share my story with others to help spread the word, it would mean the world to me. Even just having my illness recognized and receiving good wishes gives me strength. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer during this difficult time.
