Hi  Everyone, 

As you already know, we lost our sweet Ellie on May 4, just a few weeks shy of turning 8. The loss was sudden and unexpected and has left everyone struggling with sadness. 

Eleanour was born on May 31, 2017. She was born with multiple heart defects and spent the majority of her first year in the CICU at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She fought her way through life, facing numerous challenges, including strokes, a brain infection, heart issues, feeding issues, and more. Ellie did this all with a smile. She would brighten any room she walked in. 

Ellie's mom, Trina, and her mom, Kris, would spread cheer through the whole unit, making tiny hats and octopuses to cheer up the babies (and the parents of those babies). Ellie's dad, Matt, worked full time and still made time to travel into CHOP to see her. They all made their lives revolve around Ellie. Ellie's little sister, Maddison, came a few years later. She adored her big sister and is currently giving everyone a much needed smile. 

As you can imagine, costs are beginning to pile up. The costs associated with an urn, the celebration of life, time off from work for Matt, etc. We are asking for anything you can offer to help us lessen the burden for this amazing family. They have been there to lift so many up and now it's our turn to lift them up in their time of need.
