Support Saluda Recovery from Hurricane Helene

Hello! I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my good friend Ellie Varn and her family. Ellie is an adjunct instructor at her local community college in Saluda, North Carolina. Hurricane Helene has devastated Ellie’s hometown, Saluda, causing many to be missing in the mudslide as well as losing their homes. Ellie and her family are currently evacuated from the area with no way to return home for the foreseeable future. Her home and the community has suffered great damages that will take months to recover. As Saluda is a small town, it also houses many elderly people who is in desperate needs of financial help to relocate for the time being. All proceeds of this GoFundMe will go towards helping Ellie and her family rebuilding their home and helping the Saluda community rebuild their hometown.
