Ellie Palmer, the talented pitcher for Juan Diego Catholic High School's softball team, has always been a source of inspiration for her teammates and friends. Just yesterday, during what should have been a regular game, Ellie was struck in the face by a line drive. The impact was severe—she lost six teeth, suffered a broken jaw, and required about sixty stitches in her gums and lips. Over the next year, Ellie will need multiple surgeries, including bone grafts and dental implants, to recover from these injuries.

This sudden accident has placed a tremendous emotional and financial burden on Ellie's family. In addition to the extensive medical procedures, her parents will need to take time off work to care for her during her recovery. The costs are overwhelming, and the road ahead will be long and challenging for everyone involved.

Ellie is our Ace Pitcher who was having an amazing Senior Year, recently reaching a milestone of 20 wins on the mound and 50 strikeouts on the season. The team and our community would love to show Ellie and her family just how much they are loved and supported.
