Dear Family and Friends,
We never imagined we would be sharing something like this, but recently my sister Ellie, 31 years young, was diagnosed with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ), an early form of breast cancer. While it has yet to be determined if it's spread beyond the milk ducts (then categorizing the cancer at a higher stage), it is still cancer, and it has completely shifted hers and our whole family's world in a matter of weeks.
What started as concern over changes in her body quickly turned into numerous appointments, extensive imaging and multiple biopsies. She is now preparing for a double mastectomy, reconstruction and possibly chemotherapy in the next weeks/months to come. It's overwhelming both physically and emotionally, but she is choosing to face this with strength, faith, and determination, as she does with all aspects of her life.
If you feel led to support, whether through donating or simply sharing this page, it would mean more than we can put into words. Ellie is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and encouragement surrounding her. We truly know this is, and will be, a tough chapter in her life, but we also know that she is tougher.
Thank you all for the support and grace in advance.
Love
Ellie and Family
