Ellen “Mimi” Maguire was the heart of her family and a beloved member of the Arlington community. Her sudden passing just days before Christmas has left her children and grandchildren not only grieving, but also facing significant financial challenges. Ellen spent her final years cared for by Jennifer and her daughters, and as her health declined, she was unable to continue working at the job she loved. Despite the difficulties, the family worked together to maintain a safe and loving home. Now, with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses, as well as ongoing household bills and outstanding debts, Jennifer and her daughters are at risk of losing even more while they mourn their loss.

My name is Maura Sullivan, and I have known and loved this family as my own for over 30 years. Ellen was known for her warmth, her big beautiful smile, and her ability to make everyone feel special—whether she was cheering at the ball fields, greeting clients at work, or chatting with neighbors around town. She touched countless lives and was truly loved by all. I am starting this fundraiser to help relieve some of the financial stress that has fallen on Jennifer, giving her and her family the time and space to grieve, plan, and figure out how to move forward in the coming months.
